About
The Carver 3607 Aft Cabin was introduced in 1982. She was the biggest boat built by Carver at the time. Immediately successful, she was built on a dual mode trawler style hull, meaning that it can run efficiently and very economically at slow 7 to 8 knot displacement speeds and still plane out when the throttles are applied. She is powered by twin MerCruiser 454 gas engines.
She features a spacious aft deck with a custom hardtop which leads down to the salon. The salon features the lower helm station to starboard with a large open space to port which could fit a love seat. Aft of the helm is the galley on the port side. It features a refrigerator and freezer, three burner stove with oven, sink and plenty of storage. Opposite the galley is a booth with table and seating for four adults. The table has a storage compartment accessed by lifting the table top.
The aft cabin master quarters spans the full beam of the boat and features a queen bed, built-in storage, closet and private head with shower, tub and sink. Forward of the salon deck helm is a second head to starboard with a sink across to port. There is a V-berth forward that has sleeping for two.
A large helm deck is found above the house with the helm station oriented to starboard with seating for guests to port.
This vessel has undergone many upgrades over the last couple of years and truly is most impressive.
