The ALOHA 8.5, introduced in 1983, is an updated version of the ALOHA 28..

The main difference between the 2 boats is the installation of 5 opening port lights down each side of the vessel, and the addition of more brightwork, including a trim piece running horizontally above the port lights.

The designer was Ted Brewer and they were built by Ouyang Boat Works / Aloha Yachts in Whitby, Ontario, Canada

The owner has invested considerable money in electronics and improvements, making this one of the nicest Aloha 8.5s on the market
